What it costs
For comparison, published ranges for 500 square feet of underground construction: $150,000 to $300,000 finished and earth-sheltered, $400,000 to $600,000 hardened with NBC filtration, before land and site work (ThePricer). Cube prices are preliminary until engineering is complete.
Questions
About the
Holm 5.
Are these layouts ready to build?
They are recommended starting points. Every Holm is engineered by a licensed structural engineer for its site, soil and water table, and the stamped drawings are produced in design.
Can I change the layout?
Yes. In the Bunker Builder you can move cubes, change what each one is for, add cubes and move the door and the exit. The spec underneath, air, filtration, shielding, radon and exits, does not change.
How is the price set?
Each layout is priced part by part, and you add systems in the Bunker Builder at published prices. The final price is confirmed in writing after the site visit, because the ground, depth and access change the work.
