Custom Holm

Any shape. Any number of cubes.

Build it however you want. Start from one cube in the Bunker Builder, drag in every room, and shape the layout to your ground: an L, a U, a courtyard, or a side room for decontamination or storage. Up to 24 cubes in the Builder, and larger layouts designed with us.

How custom works

  1. Start from scratch or from any Holm in the Builder.
  2. Drag in rooms. Each one snaps to the side you drop it on.
  3. Every part is added for you: mate kits at every joint, the door on the entry, the exit on the far bunk room, and end caps everywhere else.
  4. Turn it in 3D, move cubes and change their uses until it fits.
  5. Choose your systems, see the installed price and reserve with a $5,000 deposit.

One cube, one room

What a cube
can be.

Give every cube a job. Keep the machinery together, the sleeping cubes away from the entry, and the kitchen beside the bath so the plumbing stays short.

  • Entry and airlockPut this cube behind the exterior door: the stair or hatch, the gas-tight door and the first seal against the outside.
  • DecontaminationA sealed cube between the entry and the living space, to wash off fallout before going further in. Add the Decontamination room option for the shower and drain.
  • Utility: air and powerFilters, blowers, batteries, inverters and controls in one cube, so machinery noise and heat stay out of the living space.
  • CommunicationsRadios, the situational awareness screen and the antenna feeds, in a quiet cube near the entry.
  • KitchenGalley counters, sink and cooking. The Water and Plumbing systems serve it, so it works best beside the bath or utility cube.
  • DiningA table for the whole household, next to the kitchen.
  • Living and commonSeating and open floor for the household to spend the day together.
  • Bunks and sleepingBuilt-in bunks. We plan two people per cube across the whole layout; a bunk cube itself can hold four.
  • Primary bedroomA private room with a full bed and storage.
  • BathToilet, shower and sink. The Plumbing and Waste systems serve it.
  • Medical and supplyFirst aid, medications and medical supplies in one place. The Medical system adds the equipment.
  • Food and water storageShelving for long-term food and water. The Water system adds the tanks.
  • Storage and vaultShelving, gear and a secure vault for documents and valuables.
  • WorkshopA bench and tools for repairs.
