Bunker Systems

Medical: ready for the injury that cannot wait.

When roads close and hospitals fill, the bunker is the clinic. A medical system puts the right supplies and equipment in place before they are needed: trauma care for every person, potassium iodide for fallout, power for oxygen and cold storage for medicine.

Three tiers

Priced,
installed.

Optional in every bunker. Add it in the Builder, or later. Prices are installed in Utah, including equipment, labor and commissioning, and are confirmed in writing after the site visit.

How we size it

The numbers
behind it.

Potassium iodide

The FDA dose is 130 mg for adults, 65 mg for children 3 to 12, and smaller doses for infants, once a day and only when public health officials direct it.

Prescriptions

Extended supplies of medicine come from your physician. We provide the cold storage and protected power to keep them usable.

Oxygen and power

A stationary concentrator can draw 350 watts. We size the power system for it.

Training

Equipment helps only if someone knows how to use it. Every tier includes household orientation, and we recommend formal first-aid training.

Questions

About
medical.

Is this medical advice?

No. We supply and install equipment. Talk with your physician about medications, dosing and any condition that needs planning.

How long does potassium iodide last?

Check the manufacturer's expiration date and rotate it. It protects only the thyroid, and only from radioactive iodine.

Can the medical bay be added later?

Yes, as long as space and power are planned for it. Tell us in the Builder and we will reserve both.

Prices set 2026-10-28 from published retail equipment prices plus installation. Brand names describe the class of equipment; we may substitute equal or better equipment based on availability. Subscriptions, well drilling and septic systems are quoted separately.
